Uratian god, Tesheiba. Uraut, corresponding to the biblical Kingdom of Ararat, was an Iron Age kingdom centered around Lake Van in the Armenian Highlands, which rose to power in the mid-9th century BCE and was conquered by Media in the early 6th century BCE. It is argued that the heirs of Urartu are the Armenians and their successive kingdoms.
