An Acknowledgement of Country is your opportunity to give respect to First Nations people as the Traditional Custodians of the land. But it’s also more than that. This tradition has been apart of First Nations cultures for many thousands of years. Unlike a Welcome to Country, it can be delivered by anyone and given at the start of a meeting, speech, or even a school assembly.
