Welcome home party idea. You can't go to the link though unless you are military and have log in. What this is though is a large piece of wood that is painted like a flag and then distressed. Supply red and black sharpies for everyone to write on flag with. I would then put some sort of sealer on top to make sure that it stands the test of time. Fantastic idea.
