A Cleveland Icon and a Friday Night Phenomenon

I am a lover of kitsch. Perhaps that's because some of my fondest memories as a kid growing up in the Greater Cleveland broadcast area were the television shows I used to watch. Local programming....nothing like it. If you are...

Big Chuck and Lil' John from WJW out of Cleveland. Their show was began in 1979 and was originally on Friday nights at 11.30PM, then got moved to Saturday nights at 11.30PM. Their last show was in 2007. However, John obviously didn't like retirement as the show started up again during the summer of 2011 however, this time it was for Saturday morning at 11AM.

Cedar Point 1966 - I was sooooo disappointed that I couldn't ride it the first year it opened. Papa said he would make me special shoes so I would be taller.
