Country Churches dot the rural landscape of America. They stand tall and majestic and are a symbol of a way of living that once was. These rural churches were the center of farming communities. Many still are open today, some with as few as only a dozen or so in their congregations. Some, like the country church my mother grew up in, still performs the services in Norwegian, German or the language indicative of that immigrant area.
