Mini Christmas Twix Cookies
made a half batch of my favorite sugar cookie recipe and cut the dough into little Christmas shapes. After baking and allowing the cookies to cool completely, I melted some baking caramels (I used Kraft baking caramel) and added a splash of heavy cream to make the caramel extra smooth. Then, I dipped each cookie into the caramel. Next, I melted some milk chocolate and dipped each cookie in the melted chocolate. Using a fork and the edge of the bowl, I removed any excess chocolate, then allowed the cookies to fully set on a piece of parchment paper.
