Indian jambiya dagger, 19th century, curved double edged steel (jawhar) blade with central ridge, decorated at the forte with a medallion of gold overlay floral motifs, hilt with gold koftgari work of scrolling leafy tendrils issuing flowers, pommel in the form of a horse's head, with a cloth-covered wooden scabbard with a gilt copper chape, 38.3cm.
