Okay so my first official post is going to be about how to make your own tank top out of an ordinary shirt. The first step is to cut the shirt in areas shown above, taking out the neck, sleeves, and bottom. Then flip the 'shirt' over and tie the sleeve holes together in the back. Using ribbon like as shown is a cool alternative to string or even thread. Finally, to soften the newly cut edges, gently pull the material slightly. And voila! You've made a cute, original tank top.
