Defensive End for Flower Mound's Marcus High School, he was recruited by Kansas State, Oregon, Baylor, Boise State, California, Illinois, Iowa, North Carolina, Oklahoma State, Oregon State, SMU, Texas Tech, UCLA, Vanderbilt, and Virginia according to ESPN.
