For this hotel in Long Island City we cladded the elevator lobby in Petina black steel panels. We also fabricated and installed a split flap display resembling a train departure board that features the word “welcome” in several languages, to greet guests. Challenges with this project was replicating a non functional train display board and using industrial coding that will hold up to the wear and tear on the metal panels.
