Rug. Cut 2.5 inch squares of knit fabric. Can use old t-shirts, grandmas double knit pants etc. Fold into triangles and sew onto a heavy fabric, such as denim or duck cloth. Draw lines one inch apart on your backing fabric. These will be your stitching lines.
