The Detva Cross is a decorated regional cross that can be seen in the Podpoľanie Region, as well as The Symbolic Cemetery in High Tatras of Slovakia. The symbolic cemetery (1525 m above the sea) is situated close to the Popradské Mountain Lake. It was built as a memorial to people who worked and tragically died in the High Tatras. Currently there are over 160 memorial-boards and 50 hand-carved wooden crosses.
