Polymer clay palm tree
This is a step-by-step video showing how to make a polymer clay palm tree. Paperclip wires are used to create a sturdy frame to build the tree around. The frame is then wrapped with a strip of polymer clay to create the tree trunk. The clay leaves are shaped to the curved tops of the wires and then cut with scissors along the edges. Tiny clay balls are created to form the coconuts. The entire tree is then oven hardened and painted with acrylic paint to add colour and highlight edges.
