I pin this for awareness and understanding. I think every family member, friend and caregiver needs to read this. Do not let mental illness define your opinion of your friend or loved one. That is not who they are. You would not condemn or judge someone for having cancer. The same recognition, support, compassion, and respect should apply to persons who are mentally ill. IMO.
