Nomura House: Garden
The garden at the Nomura samurai house and museum in Kanazawa's Nagamachi samurai district. The Nomura were high-ranking samurai until going broke during the Meiji era. The house features a beautiful garden and some excellent artifacts, including weapons and armor. I should also add that the rain was pouring down--you can see if you look carefully. I was also lucky enough to participate in a private tea ceremony in the room just above this one. Nagamachi Samurai District. Kanazawa, Ishikawa.
