Catherine Parr - Catherine enjoyed a close relationship with Henry's three children and was personally involved in the education of Elizabeth and Edward, both of whom became English monarchs. She was influential in Henry's passing of the Third Succession Act in 1543 that restored both his daughters, Mary and Elizabeth, to the line of succession to the throne.

Catherine of Aragon, 1520s. Four months after her first child was stillborn, Catherine became pregnant again. A son Henry was born in 1511, but died seven weeks later. Following the stillbirth in 1510, Henry VIII began an affair with Anne Hastings, the wife of his close George Hastings. Anne and George had only been married a year when this affair began.
