Castle Rising, Norfolk, England. Queen Isabella, known as the 'She-wolf of France' was sent there by her son Edward III, after it is alleged she arranged the murder of her husband Edward II with her lover Roger Mortimer. It is said she went mad, and her crazed laughter is heard echoing around the gaunt and impressive walls.

Cley-Next-The-Sea Windmill, Norfolk
This windmill dates from 1713 and it is located in the village of Cley-Next-The-Sea and by the banks of the River Glaven. It looks out over marshes towards the sea embankments which protect Cley from the North Sea, as it lies well below sea level. The photo was taken with a Minolta XD5 SLR camera using 100 ISO film and a 45mm Rokkor lens.
