Upcycling a second hand shirt
How to upcycle a shirt with lace to give it a cute, new look Steps: 1. cut off the lowers section of the shirt (if recommended using an oversized mens shirt) 2. Cut this section into 4cm strips 3. Press in 1cm on each edge of strip 4. Pin strip onto front of shirt 5. Top stitch along the edge to create a channel (leave both ends open) 6. Using a safely pin, thread lace through the channel and top stitch it securely into the end by the leave. Leave a long enough tail to tie a bow on the front 7. Repeat this x3 times so you have x2 channels on each side of the shirt 8. Unpick the centre of the hem on the sleeve 9. Add x2 button holes (approx 1cm apart) 10. Stitch up the unpicked hem and thread lace through the button hole to rouch the sleeves 11. Finish the raw hem on the front
