Barn wood that was salvaged from friends of ours in Illinois was used in a chevron and herringbone style pattern. Pallet Wood Coffee Table with a base made from a wooden futon I found on the side of the road. Finished it up with a distressed paint job with some chalk paint and wax then poured Epoxy Resin on top for a smooth as glass finish. When you look at pictures of interiors all day, you get used to seeing the same things over and over — so it’s nice to run across something that is completely new. Except that the technique used to create this end grain block floor, with its beautiful, solid, highly textured appearance, is actually hundreds of years old.
