Salmon with cranberry-ginger sauce. Soooo good! Combine: maple syrup, soy sauce, grated ginger, minced garlic, balsamic vinegar, red pepper flakes, cayenne, salt and black pepper. Marinate for at least 30 minutes. Mince onion and set aside cranberries. Sauté the salmon in oil skin-side up for 3 mins, then turn and sauté for another 3-4 mins. Deglaze the pan with Grand Marnier or red wine. Sauté the onion for 2 minutes. Add the marinade and cranberries. Cook down, then spoon over salmon.
