1/2 tsp teaspoon cinnamon 
1/2 tsp vanilla 
2 cups peeled diced apples 
1/4 cup brown sugar 
1 tablespoon cornstarch 
4 tablespoons butter
Egg roll wrappers 
1/3cup granulated sugar & 1/2teaspoon ground cinnamon combined

In a large skillet over high heat add butter. Once melted add in apples brown sugar cinnamon and vanilla. Sauté for five minutes. Add in cornstarch and stir until sauce has thickened then cut the heat. To stuff place your egg roll place a wrapper on a diagonal. Add apple filling to the center roll it tuck in the sides and seal it closed with water. Deep fry until golden brown or to air fry spray egg rolls with nonstick spray and air fry at 400° for 12 minutes until golden brown. Immediately

INGREDIENTS
Serves: 16

Syrup:
• 140 mL water
• 115g caster sugar
• 135g honey
• 1 Tbsp lemon Juice

Baklava:
• 40 sheets filo pastry (cut to size)
• 280g salted butter, melted
• 420g nutella
• 250g hazelnuts, finely chopped

METHOD

1. Make the syrup first to ensure it’s cool when making the baklava. If you pour hot syrup over a hot baklava it will go soggy. Add all ingredients to a saucepan and bring to the boil. Then reduce heat to low and simmer for 6 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool, refrigerate.

2. Butter the bottom of an 8x8 baking dish. Place a piece of filo pastry down (you may need to cut it to size). Brush it with butter. Repeat this step for 8 layers of filo. Ensure you’re cover

Directions:
1. Thinly slice apples and microwave in lemon water for 5 minutes until tender.
2. Roll out puff pastry sheet (you can use frozen store bought) cut into 6 strips, and brush with honey, fruit preserves, or agave syrup.
3. Place 7-9 apple slices on each strip, then fold and roll into rose shapes.
4. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
5.) Arrange in a muffin tin.
6.) Bake the pastries for 35-45 minutes or until golden brown. 
7.) Allow pastries to cool, then sprinkle with cinnamon and powdered sugar & enjoy!
