If you're wondering why Vietnamese noodle salad bowls or Banh mi's taste so elite, it's because of these pickles. 

Super fresh and quick to make, with a total of 5 ingredients!!

RECIPE BELOW 👇🏻 

Makes 2 cups 

Ingredients //
1 medium sized carrot, julienned
1/4 of a large daikon, julienned 
3 tbl vinegar 
1 cup water 
3 tbl white sugar 
1/2 tsp salt

Steps //
1. Salt carrots and radish, massage thoroughly and set aside for 15 mins while you combine the pickling mixture together.  Adjust your pickling liquid according to your taste as I like mine sweeter than tangy. 
2. Rinse veggies, squeeze excess liquid with hands and pat dry as much as you can and add to the jar (you can skip this step if you want) and top u
