How To Make A Pillow With Glue
You guys know I have never been able to master my sewing machine. And not for lack of trying. (Okay, fine, I didn't try very hard and pretty much gave up at the first sign of difficulty.) But, since I know I'm not alone in this struggle, I decided to share how I make most of my pillows...without a sewing machine. It's a beautiful thing. A little while ago, I came across some fabric glue called Unique Stitch and decided to give it a try, figuring nothing could be worse than fumbling around…

I wanted to figure out a good way to make the quilt using all the different sizes. I thought I could put a small size next to a big size and it would all work out in the end but the…
Reusing Vintage Hankies - A Hanky Pillow
I love the style of old crazy quilts. Today I put together a couple pillows loosely based on that style, using some vintage hankies I had laying around. Generally, crazy quilts are hand embroidered with decorative stitches at each seam. As you can see, I didn't get that fancy while making these... Instead, I cut each hanky and laid them out in my desired design, making sure only finished edges were exposed on each piece before I topstitched them to the pillow top. I used 5-6 different…
