Need more than a 50 degree cut with a miter saw? Cut a board 50 degrees and clamp it onto your saw. Then, holding your board to cut along the guide of the 50 degree angle, simply position your saw to the angle desired minus 50. For this, I needed a 72.5 degree angle. So, I hold the board on the guide, set the saw on 22.5 degrees, and keep my hands out of the way while I make the perfect cut.
