RDL vs SLD 🏋️🍑💯 Master Form with me 🫡 DETAILS ⬇️💯 The differences between these 2 deadlift variations are very minimal so it’s understandable why they get confused! ✅ RDL - push hips backwards with an increased bend in the knees. The weight is lowered until you cannot push your hips back any further (this is normally just past the knees). You will begin to feel a small stretch in your hamstrings at this point however the hips will be loaded under maximum tension placing more emphasis on the glutes 🍑 ✅ SLD - lower the weight whilst keeping your legs as straight as possible but do not lock out your knees, there should be a slight natural bend.Continue to lower the weight down as far as you can whilst keeping your spine neutral (this will depend on an individual’s flexibility.
FORM TIP: Dumbbell bicep curls✅ 💡Save for later ❌Don’t confuse working hard with working too hard. The load is everyone’s own, heavy for someone may be light for another. ✅Train with loads adapted to your level, do progressive overload, try to push your limits but make sure you do the exercises with proper technique.
