💪 Strengthen Shoulders for a Stable Handstand
Two of the main issues I find clients or people have learning handstands is either fully extending their arms , or opening up the shoulders. Or both. This then created a very rounded back and unstable handstand. Or you are unable to get into the handstand at all. Some of these drills can really help you understand how to fully extend your body and what that actually feels like when in a handstand position The best drill for me was the wall shrugs , this strengthened my shoulders a tonne, and helps me out a lot now when I’m learning one arm handstand as it’s really important to fully push up through the shoulder.
