Shabby funky chic display for boutique. Honestly I'm not sure is this was a buffet or dresser repurposed, or made entirely from scratch, but this is amazing. love the chicken wire and "framed" front.

I usually don't care for most of today's tacky re-painted older furnishings, and I especially can't stand repainted fine antiques and fine reproductions. But, these vintage bed stands were nothing special, and now they are lovely! The difference is the appropriateness of the new design with the original shape and size, and the quality of the workmanship. That said, I think I would have done a bit less distressing, if any at all. Re-painted furniture doesn't all have to look 'shabby.'

This is a great example of staging for a photo. It brought out the colors within the furniture with the decor. I love the idea of a bowl on the bottom shelf too - an easy way to store some extra things!
