KNITKNOT – magnum #1 | Knotted fiber art by Tamar Samplonius
The KNITKNOTS collection features large-scale knot art pieces. The idea was developed out of a wish to incorporate my new interest – knitting – into my art. Intrigued by the possibility to create my own ‘ropes’, I started knitting tubes and experimenting with different fillings. My objective was to create XXL ropes to make knots large enough to stand on their own.
