Ro: "Sunt imbecili cei care spun despre lucrările mele că ar fi abstracte; ceea ce ei numesc abstract este cel mai pur realism, deoarece realitatea nu este reprezentată de forma exterioară, ci de ideea din spatele ei, de esenţa lucrurilor(Brâncuşi). En: "They are imbeciles who call my work abstract. That which they call abstract is the most realistic, because what is real is not the exterior but the idea, the essence of things." (Constantin Brancusi)
