The first one by sketchboook on deviantART ©2009-2013 sketchboook  Prototype of gravity defier during flight tests in 1899. Defier was designed and constructed by Prof. Sir James Mortimer Campbell and is build around sophisticated mechanical device that disrupts the gravity field.  Because of its distinctive vertical shape the defiers were often called Campbell's hats by the press.
