Mom's Super Laundry Sauce    1 br Fels Naptha, 1 cup Borax;   1 c. Washing Soda, 4 c.hot water,   Directions:  4 cups of water in a large heavy saucepan over high heat. While heating, mix borax and washing soda in a bowl, mixing well, set aside. Grate the Fels Naptha, to the water, stirring. Reduce to medium heat, until Fels Naptha is dissolved. Laundry Detergent (dry)        I know a lot of recipes out there called for Fels Naptha but we use Zote & it is great for sensitive skin, but you can still use Fels Naptha in this recipe if you want,  The Epsom salts are for water softening or use Kosher or Sea Salt. Make sure your grated soap is fine, otherwise, the chunks will just float and not dissolve. Oxyclean is optional

This is seriously the best stain removing product I've ever used.  I'm talking melted crayons out of denim and ink out of carpet good, and coffee and ketchup, etc...  Apparently better for the environment too.  I won't buy anything else.

momma goes crazy - no pics, but homemade laundry detergent and some other tips at the bottom of post     I'm going to try Zote (Pink) soap because I've heard it smells better (and some say washes better) than the Fels Naptha... Will let you know how it works out!
