One of the iconic photos taken from 9/11/01. We were in Monterey visiting my folks and this came on the morning news shows. Devastating and very frightening.

My Tribute to 9/11

It happened on this day.in 2001 - Suicide hijackers crashed two airliners into the World Trade Center in New York, causing the twin towers to collapse. Another hijacked airliner hit the Pentagon and a fourth crashed in a field in Pennsylvania.
