Crockpot Turtle Brownies are divine! | Crockpot Turtle Brownies are divine! #chocolate #desserts #brownies | By Kyle & Mistie Knight | On top of those pecans, we're going to add a layer of caramel bits. We're going to empty out that whole bag. Now, I'm going to take a box of this chewy fudge brownie mix. We're going to dump that in as well. The entire box into our bowl. We've got 2/ 3 cup of oil and three tablespoons of water and we also need some eggs. There's some in the fridge. Would you grab em? I already pulled them out. Sure. Eggs in the fridge. Here we go. Here they are. Here you go. We will crack these those will go right into our brownie mix. Extra calcium never hurt anyone and then we're just going to fold everything in and mix this up. Now, remember, this is a quick and easy version but if you want to make it from scratch, you absolutely can. Now, we've got that beautiful brownie batter and we're going to pour that directly on top of everything else. And now we're just going to spread that batter out making sure that it covers everything nicely it's nice and thick Now, we're going to top that brownie batter with some caramel topping and you just pour it and give it a nice drizzle and it is going to be delicious. I love caramel, don't y'all? It's actually caramel. Caramel. No, it is caramel. It's look at it. C A R A. Listen, I'm from Mississippi. It's caramel. That's how we say it, Mississippi caramel and also, don't get me started on the pecans, pecan thing too. Y'all settle this debate. Caramel or caramel? Pecans or pecans. Let me know which is the right way and remember, I'm your favorite. Go That's just me. It's going to be so good and when it's done baking, we're going to flip this upside down and have some upside down turtle brownies. It's going to cook on high for two to three hours then we're going to taste test so don't go anywhere but now it's time for the riddle of the day. See if you can get this one right. I fly without wings. I cry without eyes. What am I? Ooh that's a tricky one. Leave your guesses in the comments and also be sure to first let us know where you're from. Tell us what state or what country you're from then tell us what your answer is for the riddle. See if you can get this one right. Three. Alright y'all our brownies are done. I can't wait to try It was a solid three three and a half hours before these were ready. But if you want to do it in the oven that'll be much quicker. We're going to go ahead and remove this part. Get rid of this part. And then Kyle has a plate for me because we're going to turn this upside down. And remember we've got the pecans on the bottom. So this is a turtle brownie. Hey by the way Misty. What do you call a pecan that likes to work out? I don't know. What is pecan that likes to work out? A health nut. Oh how cute is that? A health nut. Alright you this is going to work or is it going to be a disaster? It might be a disaster. Alright. Did it fall out? It's still stuck. Why does this happen? You degrease the bottom. Yeah. I guess oh oh no. It it worked. It worked. It worked? Mhm. It doesn't look like it's working right now. It did. It did work. It did work. These are caramel turtle brownies and I bet they're going to be delicious. Just don't mind that part right there. Kyle you going to get in here right? Absolutely. Now do you like your brownies to be like soft and mushy or do you like them to be crunchy on the outside? Like which kind do you prefer? What about you Kyle? I like a little crunchy. I like a little bit of both. Alright. I'm just going to dig in. I love turtles. My mom's favorite candy was always turtles and that's just the not real turtles. No, not real turtles. It's the pecans with the caramel. Alright, I'm ready for this. Alright, you're getting the first bite. I bet it's delicious. See? I knew it would be. Is there too much caramel or is it just enough? How is that possible? Wow. Mm. It's the perfect amount of caramel. Caramel. Caramel. Caramel. Mm. I feel good. Alright y'all. Caramel with caramel. Who who's right on this one?

And you know y'all I'm pondering right now because I feel like I kind of want to add a little more cherries but also is there enough? I'm just having a hard time deciding here. So you know what we're going to do? We're going to add half a can more because I open another can. I want some more on top. I I like I like canned cherry pie filling. Cherry la la. Oh Alright, y'all. Y'all this smells so good. I wish I could send smells through the phone because this seriously smells amazing. Um alright. This was the wonder bread with the cherry pie filling and then the egg mixture and stuff so it's kind of like bread pudding slash french toast casserole y'all that's it I'm excited this going to be so good and that's all that's all I got to say about that y'all alright so this is real hot Imma move this to the side I have some fresh whipped cream I made so that's what we're doing y'all good amount of whipped cream and time to try it it's going to be good it's going to be good how's it going to be bad I'm excited it's me good because I got my my special headband on and it's almost 4th of July. I love summer and I love Fourth of July and that's it. I love dessert. I love food. I love crockpots. I love cats. I love chickens. I love everything. Oh it's hot. Yeah. Mm. Alright, y'all. We started with one box of fudge cake. Triple chocolate fudge cake mix. We're making a delicious treat. So, we follow the directions on the cake mix for this recipe. I know I like to do my hacks sometimes but one cup of water, half cup of oil, and three eggs. Um I'm going to mix this up. This is so fun. I know y'all are loving watching me do this right now, okay? Cuz it's fun. Fun, fun and you know what else is fun y'all? Um I got a new shirt today. Once in a while, someone amazing comes along and here I am. You're welcome. Y'all like my shirt? Oh gosh. Um y'all honestly, I got this shirt from like, you know, that company or something but I don't buy clothes from them anymore. So, that's it but I got this a while ago and I thought it was funny but Imma see if Walmart or Amazon has one so I could link it for y'all but yeah because I don't I don't buy stuff from them no more. Alright. So, going to give this a little mix and once it's mixed pretty good that looks great we're going to move this this whisk to the side and y'all this is what we're making here I'm so excited we got our crockpot and we sprayed it okay so you want to spray it inside of your crockpot now we're going to pour this cake mix in our crockpot alright I don't think I've ever made a chocolate dessert in my crockpot before so I'm excited y'all I mean on the video I mean I've made it myself but y'all know what I mean I'm excited y'all going to love this because you know what a few things chocolate is delicious number one number two I love I love my crockpot y'all I really do because it's easy and I love easy and that's it okay end of story alright now y'all Imma move even though I just brought this here so now we have two cups of milk and I have one package of instant pudding, alright? Um I have the Walmart brand but chocolate instant pudding, alright? So, we're going to pour this in our milk and we're going to mix this up. I think you have to mix it for like 2 minutes. So, we're going to mix this up for 2 minutes. I'm going to make y'all watch me. Just kidding. Alright, y'all. I know it's a lot of chocolate here but y'all are going to love this, okay? So, now the pudding, we're just going to pour it right in the middle of our cake like so and we ain't going to mix it, okay? We're just pouring it in the middle. That's a lot of pudding. Alright, let me y'all I'm excited right in the middle alright y'all and then we got one more little thing we putting on top so at this point y'all I mean gosh there's so many options if y'all want to put a little chocolate chips you can I have some semi-sweet chocolate chips alright 1totwo cups but you know what y'all sometimes I like to be a little extra look I have this Reese's peanut butter chips I mean chocolate lava peg in the crockpot with some peanut butter chips on top I don't know y'all but if I think I think this is the way to go we have a few chocolate chips and then some Reese's chips what else do I have Oh, I have some Nestle Tollhouse chocolate and peanut butter mixture. I mean, okay, I feel like this might be enough. Alright, y'all. So, we're going to cover this up. We're going to put this on top for about two hours and we're going to have a delicious chocolate lava cake. Yum yum. Alright, y'all. We have our little boopy biscuit here. He's still chewing on his treat. So, now when I need him, I just throw a treat and he comes running. That's his favorite game. Chase the treat. So, yes and he's there's more treats right here baby but everyone wants to see you because you're so beautiful. Alright, here you go. Go get another treat. Chase the treat. Go get it. Run. Run. He's not running. Okay. Um alright y'all so here we have our crockpot lava cake. So we had this cooking on high for about 2 hours, alright? Um so I think it's going to be hot but that's okay. I'm I'm here for it. I'm here for the chocolate. So remember we put some peanut butter chips on top. And pudding in the middle. So let's oh my goodness. Y'all this is going to be so good. Alright. Look at that. It's it's like it's like lava. I don't you can see it inside too maybe. I don't know if that's better. But yeah so we put the pudding in the middle y'all. Which doesn't cook all the way and that's like the lava but the cake did cook. Alright? So that's it. Okay. Anyways story time's over. Oh there goes my spatula. I'm losing it. The lava's eating my spatula. Alright we're putting some some ice cream on top. And we about to have ourselves a delicious treat. Wow. I don't think I've eaten anything today. I mean I tried some I've eaten dessert. That's what I've eaten all day today Bridget. That's it. Alright. Let's have some Kevin, don't go anywhere. I see you. Good boy. You stay right there. Okay. Y'all this is so hot. Look how fast it's melting my ice cream but that's okay. Hopefully, I don't burn my tongue. Hopefully, the ice cream will counteract the heat. Mmm. Y'all. Y'all like chocolate? Huh, y'all can make it.

Red Velvet Lava Cake is so good! | Red Velvet Lava Cake is so good! #chocolate #desserts #easyrecipes | By Kyle & Mistie Knight | One box of red velvet cake mix. You're going to add three eggs, half cup of vegetable oil, and one cup of water. Now, you're going to mix that up Isn't that look beautiful? Mm hmm. You're going to place one bowl right on top. We're going to add a box of jello pudding cheesecake instant pudding. That's the three-point-four-ounce box but you don't need to add to that, some milk. Some milk? It's in the fridge. Would you grab that honey please? Sure. That's for you. Uh here it is. Right here. Thank you. Now, I'm using the organic milk. You let me know if you think organic is worth the extra cost. We're going to use two cups of milk. Now, you're going to add two cups of cold milk. And we're going to whisk that together and we're going to whisk that together until it becomes Now, you're going to take your pudding and carefully add it to the center of our red velvet cake mix. It almost becomes like a little surprise right in the middle. That is what's going to create our lava and now, we're going to take some milk chocolate chips and we're just going to sprinkle a few of those right on top of our cheesecake part and now, we're going to top that with some cream cheese-flavored chips. Did you know they make these? We're just going to sprinkle these around the outside as well. This is going to be so yummy. Who doesn't love red velvet cake? This was my grandmother's favorite. Y'all let me know in the comments if you think she would approve of this recipe and the last step is to a paper towel, place that over the top, and then the lid goes on. That paper towel is going to help collect any condensation to help the cake cook quicker. You're going to cook this on high for 3 hours. No peeking and then we're going to taste test. Now, while that's baking, it's time for the riddle of the day. Let's see if you can get this one right. It's a fun one. What do an island and the letter T have in common. This is a tricky one. First, tell us where you're from in the comments and then, give us your guess. I'll be putting the answer in the comments the next day. See if you can get it Okay, I can't wait to try this. Red velvet has been my favorite ever since my grandmother used to make it for me as a little girl. I've never tried it in the Crock Pot. So, fingers crossed it turned out as good as I hope. This paper towel will help collect any condensation. Look at that. Oh, it smells good. Alright. Now, if you haven't used your Crock Pot for bacon, you should. It doesn't heat up the house as much as the oven. Sometimes if your oven's already full, it gives you another option and Uses less energy. Okay, here we go. Let's see if we have the lava that we're hoping for. Oh, we do. That's that's the pudding coming through. Okay. So, we've got cheesecake flavored pudding. There's the cake from the bottom. You can see that it actually is done. Look at that. There's our cake. Alright, this is exciting. Alright. I can't wait to try this. Let's see if it holds up. Kyle you better get in here. Alright here we go. Ooh I didn't get the first bite on that one did I? You love red velvet. It's really good. Alright here we go. Alright there's a bite with the cheesecake pudding. It's really mm. It actually turned out really good. I love cooking in the crock pot. This is a winner. It's a winner. I like this one. Y'all gotta love this one. Mm. Who knew? Red velvet cake in a crock pot. It's really good. You.

Crockpot Pecan Pie is so good! | pecan pie, pie, dessert | Crockpot Pecan Pie is so good! #EasyRecipes #desserts #Pie | By Kyle & Mistie Knight | Got some pie crust here and that is going to go right in the bottom of our Crockpot. Did you know that you can make pies in the Crockpot? We are about to prove it. You just use your fingers to kind of roll down the edges to create the crust just like that. Now, we've got one cup of sugar. That's just regular granulated sugar. Put that in a mixing bowl. To that, we're going to add a third of a cup of melted butter Now, we're going to take some light corn syrup. You need one and 1third cup. So, I'm just going to fill that up to the one-third mark and that goes right into our mixture with the sugar and the melted butter. Kairo syrup is what we call this in the south because that's the brand that you use the most. Five, five, four, three. Now, we're going to use some vanilla extract. We're going to use two teaspoons of vanilla extract. And now we're going to add a touch of cinnamon as well. And then we gotta mix that up. Make sure everything is well combined. Where y'all from? I'm from Mississippi originally. We live in Las Vegas now but I'm wondering about you. Where are you from? And let me know. Have I lost my southern accent? Cuz sometimes people from back home told me I've lost my accent but I'm not so sure. Uh I think that I've still got it at least a little bit. Got that mixed up but we need some eggs. Could you grab some eggs from the fridge please? I sure can. Eggs. Here they are. We're going to take three eggs and that goes in here as well. Okay. Gonna mix that up until everything is blended together nicely. Once you've got these wet ingredients mixed together. Now we're going to add one cup of pecan halves and we're just going to mix that in with our wet ingredients. And that will get poured right on top. We're just going to pour that right into our pie crust just like that. And now we're going to top that with a few more pecans. Just sprinkle those on top just so that it looks nice and full. Now, the Crockpot I'm using is a four-court Crockpot. So, if you've got a larger Crockpot, that means your measurements might get a little bit bigger than what we used. There we go. Just press it all down in there. That looks great. Now, we're going to cook this on high for three to three and a half hours but here's a tip. Take a paper towel that goes right underneath the lid and that will help soak up the condensation and make it perfect. Now, while that's cooking, it's time for the riddle of the day. The more you take, the more you leave behind. What am I? This is an easy one. I bet you'll get this right. Let us know what your guesses are and we will tell you if you got it. The more you take, the more you leave behind. What am I? Alright, y'all. Our pecan pie is ready. Now, I will let you in on a secret. Don't that look good? When it stops cooking and once it's done after that three, three and a half hour mark, then, you want to let it sit, you can take this part out so that it cools because you want to allow it to harden and that's what we've done. So, now, we're going to go ahead and get this out of the pot. This is the tricky part. I'm going to use my spatula here. See if I can get underneath it. Okay. Alright. It's coming out. We could've had parchment paper. You could have used parchment paper. Do y'all think I should have used parchment paper on this? I I've decided to try it without the parchment and hopefully that wasn't a mistake. We're about to find out. Alright. I just gotta get under there with my oh no. What did you do? I think I should use parchment paper. Is it stuck to the bottom? No, it's coming out but I'm afraid it might wreck it. It looks so pretty right now. I will try. What if I just cut a slice out of the bottom? I think you need to pull it out. Okay, y'all want me to take it out, right? Okay. Well, bear me. We're going to make this happen. Parchment paper might have been a better idea, Kyle. I would like to hear from y'all. Do you like when we show you all of it including the mistakes or would you rather me edit it out? Let me know what you think. We might have to edit all this up. I just need to get underneath there. I think parchment paper would have been the way to go on this. I just don't think it looks so pretty. I don't want to mess it up. Now, you could just I could kind of slice right now. We could just serve it from here. You do whatever you want but I think you're, you know, I think you really need to get it out of there. But if I get it out, it might fall apart. I think we want, do you want a man to come around? Okay, come on. Let's see if Kyle can get it out. Alright, here we go. This is going to be interesting. Alright. Did you just really pull the man part? Alright, here we go. You're going to you're it's going to fall apart. I just know it. I got it. It's falling apart? Yeah, we'll get it on the side here. Look at this. Oh no. Alright. Oh no. Ready? Oh come on. Kyle. Oh no. Okay. Go go go go. Ready? Put the plate on her. Put the plate on her. No. Alright. So, it looks beautiful. I do think that there's a couple different things that we have learned from this experience. Number one, parchment paper is definitely something that will help because then you can just lift it right out and the benefit. Crockpot liners for these things. I feel like there's liners. Yeah, there are Crockpot liners and also parchment paper either way and also, as I'm looking at this, I'm seeing that the filling is not quite a00% set yet. I'm feeling heat coming out of this which means that we did not allow this to cool long enough and that's another factor. You want to make sure that it's a to cool for at least a solid hour and then this will solidify but you know what? It's time to taste test. I didn't taste test either. It looks yummy either way. Alright, let's try this. It needed it needed more cooling time. I'm seeing that right now. It's going to be really hot. No it's it's not it's not going to burn your mouth. It just needed more cooling time. You want the first bite? Yeah. Is that what you're doing? Yeah go. It's your turn. We gotta move your fingers. You just want to I just want it looks yummy. It's good though. It's good. It just needed more time to cool. That's all. If we had allowed it to cool more, we would have been able to get that out and it wouldn't have fallen apart. That's it. Well, y'all are watching this journey where I'm learning things as I go. Thank you for the support and let me know if we should show y'all the mistakes or edit them out. It's good though, isn't it? Mm hmm. Mm hmm.
