18th Century Chippendale Dressing Mirror
A mid 18th century Georgian Chippendale mahogany dressing mirror. The oblong mirror plate is held in an oblong frame with a moulded edge and is supported between two tapering upright supports by brass pins. The top of each support has a gilt brass urn shaped finial. The mirror base has two short drawers over one long drawer that are oak lined and have gilt brass knob handles. The dressing mirror is in good condition, the mirror plate is an old replacement. (Circa 1760)
Fitted Leather Dressing Case
A small early 20th century dark green leather dressing case. The interior of the case has a water marked silk lining and is fitted out with assorted glass jars, brushes and cases. The fittings comprise of nine assorted jars and bottles, four brushes, a pin cushion, a vesta match case, a hair grip case, a lift out mirror, a manicure set and a comb. All of the metal backs and lids appear to be gold plated but have no markings.
