Magic ring crochet tutorial, Crocheting amigurumi toys with X-shaped stitches, crochet techniques

Hi everyone! Here is a "Magic Ring" tutorial, and I am also showing how I crochet the first 2 rounds of my amigurumi toys. I crochet with X-shape stitches and I do not yarn over at the first step to make my stitches tighter. This helps to avoid the holes between the stitches, through which the stuffing material can be seen. Please note this is not a traditional crochet technique but I like it best because the toys look neater when crocheted this way. For amigurumi patterns please visit my shop.
