The Key to the main door of the Royal Chapel at the Palace of Versailles in Versailles, France. This key was designed by Grettepin around 1710. The main door of the Royal Chapel of Chateau De Versailles links the nave to the lower vestibule. It is likely that this magnificent key was used only on rare occasions, or that it had a purely symbolic function.
