After living in sixteen different apartments with roommates, Coralie took a huge step and moved in on her own for the first time. She found a one bedroom in Fort Greene that she has decorated with art of her favorite artists and books while staying true to her neat and tidy minimalist roots.

This is the 10th apartment Kit has lived in (in 10 years!), and with this three-bedroom, two-bathroom rental apartment they share with a dog (and sometimes a roommate) they have put down more permanent roots and really make a space their own.

"When folks come over, they're like, whoa, you're really into plants," laughs Christopher Griffin.

For the past 10 years, Abbe Wright's small rental apartment has been her sanctuary during a hurricane, breakup, a death in the family, and job changes. But it's also been where she's celebrated new jobs, gathered travel collectibles and family heirlooms, and found love.

"When folks come over, they're like, whoa, you're really into plants," laughs Christopher Griffin.
