Critique : this is a monologue from a TED talk by Nigerian author and feminist Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. It was featured on Beyonce's track Flawless. It highlights the differences that we as a society teach to young girls vs. young boys. Even though, Beyonce doesn't always adhere to her feminist mentality, it is a powerful statement for this to be used on one of her tracks. An interesting side note is that this monologue did not make the radio edition of the single. Ted Talks, Beyoncé, Pop, Parents, Theatre, Acting Monologues, Acting, Truths, Parenting
