Joanna Brown 🌸 Your new gardening friend! on Instagram: "Add vertical growing space to your garden with a trellis. Here we use cattle panels to create a simple and inexpensive arch trellis in our raised bed garden.

Materials needed: cattle panels, t-posts, zip ties
1️⃣: Pound t-posts into the ground
2️⃣: Shape the panel into an arch and set inside of t-posts. The tension from the bend will keep the panel in place.
3️⃣: Secure by using zip ties wrapped around both the t-post and cattle panel wire.
4️⃣: Plant climbing vegetables and watch them grow! Cucumbers, Beans, Indeterminate Tomatoes, Melons, and Vining Squash are all great options. 🥒🍅🫛

SHERIDEN on Instagram: "Berry trellis update! These are first year plants and for those of you who haven’t grown raspberries and blackberries before, the first year is really about growing a strong root system, which means top growth is limited. But we are finally getting enough growth to reach the trellis panels. As shoots grow, I will continue to help them pop through the panels to keep them upright and save some space in the garden. I am expecting some wild growth next year as these have established well! And for those of you who are curious, purple sweet potatoes are planted on the edges of my raspberry bed - it was a great way to utilize the space while the berries established this year. For the original trellis post, scroll back or see the highlight on my profile.
