Burrito is one of the cutest tricks tricks I taught Ayce. It’s pretty simple if you split the trick into two parts: hold int & roll over.

Step 1. Teach roll over.
Step 2. Teach hold it with a toy or object.
Step 3. Combine hold it and roll over.
Step 4. Have your dog lay on the side of a blanket, hold the edge, and roll over.
Step 5. Switch to a “burrito” command to tie everything together!

Use a treat lure against their nose and lure it towards their shoulder to get them to turn sideways and lift their legs off the ground. 3. Continue Step 2 by luring their nose to the other side until they flip onto their back and roll over. If they are too uncomfortable to flip onto their back, you can gently guide their when your hand or return back to Step 2 and keep practicing. 4. Once your dog is comfortable rolling over, fade your treat lure into a verbal and hand command. Mark and reward once you dog has successfully rolled over. 5. Eventually you can use a single verbal command. 🐾 How to Implement: As soon as your dog pulls, stop, fold your arms, and avoid eye contact. Wait for them to slacken the leash. Once they do, praise them warmly and resume walking.
