I have learned a few things about weaving in my time, so I’m going to share a hack with you. First I’ll give you some vocabulary. “Warp” describes the long threads that go the length of the fabric. “Weft” describes the threads that go sideways across the fabric. “Take up” describes how much the warp is taken up by going over and under the weft. So... it only took me a little over a week to figure out all the joints on this project and the slot, the slot OH MY that slot! lol Well, here is my very first Inkle loom finally finished. The fantastic thing is I have also made all the jigs required to make this so simple looking loom....Might be simple for some but trust me when I tell you it really made me think so hard it hurt!
