Maya rulers were the centers of power for the Maya civilization. Their Early Classic timeline was around 250AD-600. After my travel to Belize and Guatemala gathering some references and talking to locals I came up with my version of how they supposed to look like. I started with a few reference photos I took from locals and museum photos for the artifacts, sculpting in zbrush, then I used xyz textures for a base and did quite a lot of manual sculpting on top to give the look I was looking…
