DIY notebook - This little book is adorable and very easy to make. 1. Cut chip board and paper sheets to the same size (I used 8.5×11 paper). 2. Fold chip board and paper in half. 3. Use an awl and poke holes along the fold (spine) an inch apart. 4. Use book binding thread and needle to sew string through the holes. Pull taut and finish with a knot. 5. press firmly along folded spine to close book. 6. Use xacto knife and straight edge to trim excess paper from side opposite spine.
