When you need to wear a brace there will be a lot of different ones that can be fitted. If you need to have upper and lower teeth straightened at the same time, you can be fitted with a Twin Block Appliance. Once it has been fitted there are questions you want to have answered.

Fully banded orthodontic braces used in the 1960s-1970s and early 1960s. Every tooth was wrapped with a steel and te bracket attached to the band. The bands require room between every tooth so rubber spacers were force between each tooth to create the gap. In a few days the teeth moved apart but it was very painful. Fitting the bands and other gear was a long process, usually at least two four hour appointment were required.
