Decided to try my hand at a bit of paleo-art and felt like starting with the good old smilodon populator, the most famous sabre-toothed cat.

Description Desmodus draculae approaches dangerous prey- a sleeping Smilodon. With a wingspan of around 50 cm, D. draculae was considerably bigger than today’s vampire bats, and it likely fed on the blood of the megafauna that populated the Americas during the Pleistocene and early Holocene.
