Snake shedding

Snakes shed their skin to allow for further growth and to remove parasites that may have attached to their old skin. They are apt symbols of transformation, rebirth, healing, and immortality.

The footage of the deadly green mamba snake was taken by Julia Sundukova, at a snake museum in Tanzania, Africa. The skin is shed in on go and he process takes just five minutes.
