Street dogs

One of the things that I will always associate with Istanbul are Istanbul's street dogs that roam the streets in their hundreds of thousands. Fed by the general public and even brought to the vat these dogs form complex social packs that live on the street. The white one on the photo was the one we saw every day. I spent the last 3 months traveling and volunteering in Eastern Europe with the aim of photographing street and shelter dogs. At the moment I'm in South of Athens, Greece, volunteering in a shelter for disabled dogs.
