I will admit that I am a fan of low key and moody lighting. So the mention of impressive "film noir" inspired portraits definitely piques my interest. The photos in this post have film noir written all over them! They instantly make me want to kick back and watch some old classic b/w movies. Another nice touch is that most, if not all, of the shots are from amateur shooters.

The style inspiration you need for the season ahead

This is a picture of what a 1930's Hollywood Gangster looks like. I chose this picture because in the book Monster, the gang members are nothing like this "gangster". The gangsters in Monster and guys who wear oversized shirts with either blue as their main color, or red.:
