Steps to strap up:  1. Start with anchors – make sure they're not too tight  2. Add stirrups, covering the malleoli (behind, over, and in front). Use as much or little tape as needed for your ankle.  3. Apply '6ixs' in both directions for solid support.  4. Use heel locks as needed – one, two, or none, depending on your stability requirements.  5. Lock it off, ensuring anchors aren't too tight.  Remember to use heel and lace pads to protect the Achilles and tibialis anterior tendon from cuts.   Keep your foot in dorsiflexion during the entire process.
