Remember how I promised threatened to start a new series for the SotW based on famous moments in movies? Bad news… it’s started! This week’s movie moment is Robert De Niro as “Travis Bickle” in the famous “are you talkin’ to me?” scene from “Taxi Driver”. This might be the most often and badly imitated scene in all of movie history… well, this and any Sean Connery impression. Oh, and before I get a flood of responses to this telling me I put De Niro’s mole on the wrong side of his face…

If you recognize this one of the late Leslie Nielsen from my book The Mad Art of Caricature that’s because it’s in that book. I did do a new sketch for this week but subscribers to my “The Ink Stained Wretch” weekly newsletter see it first. I’m posting throwback SotWs for the next two weeks, and then the sketches I debuted for subscribers will get posted here. So subscribe, already!

Continuing with my series of “Stranger Things” sketches, here is Chief Jim “Hop” Hopper as portrayed by David Harbour! Incidentally, I have not been adding my weekly sketches to the Studio Store lately… just a little to busy to follow through. I have rectified that, so this one and several other have just been added.
